Kristin Fisher joined CNN in July 2021, as the network's Space and Defense Correspondent. As an official for the Space and Defense Department Kristin Fisher is a reporter covering everything including NASA to the newly formed Space Force as well as commercial space companies and space tourism. Kristin's parents were both NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since worked as a White House reporter for FOX News, covering Trump and Biden Administrations in space matters. In that period, she also covered two presidential impeachment trials and the presdiential 2020 campaign, and two administration's efforts to contain the coronavirus pandemic. The reporter also went on numerous journeys with the president and vice president, including a top secret trip to Afghanistan together with the former president Donald Trump.
